Project Name: Guidance and Counselling for Migrants and Returnees

This 2009 Grundtvig Partnership funded project looked to raise awareness of the needs of migrants and returnees.

The project makes an outstanding contribution to social inclusion through its work with the Roma community. It addressed integration problems experienced by Roma and also sought to improve parental knowledge of their children’s learning performance and progress.

The 2008 Leonardo Transfer of Innovation funded project helped hearing-impaired students from the Czech Republic increase their skills in professions not available to them in their home country.

Project Name: Helpful Small Communities: Integrate Disadvantaged Women by Applicable Adult Education

Immigrants and migrants in six different countries told and presented their lives in various ways to the local community and an international audience. Partners from Latvia, Poland, Italy and Portugal worked together to support marginalized immigrants to write about talk about their lives and experiences.

Project Name: ICONET – Informal Competencies Net

The ICONET project examined strategies in 7 European countries and developed good practice to make informal or non-formal gained competences visible.

Project Name: IDEA: Inventing Dishes – European Art

The partnership IDEA enabled adults with learning difficulties and intellectual disabilities to connect and communicate through experiencing the different cultures of cooking and eating across the participating countries.

The 2011 Grundtvig Learner Workshop Inclusion through Sport looked to include all learners to overcome their barriers whether this was an economic disadvantage, a physical or learning disability, an immigrant background or an older learner.
